Timberwolf Ryan Gomes Plays Ball with Wallace

Waterbury native and Minnesota Timberwolves forward Ryan Gomes lent his strength to the faculty team during the Student-Faculty basketball game at Wallace on Friday, May 28.

Eighth-Grade Students Enjoy Semi-Formal Dance

Wallace Middle School's eighth-grade students enjoyed a semi-formal dance on Friday, May 21.

At the Veterans' Memorial near Generali Elementary School on May 24, the Wallace Middle School band and music teacher Mr. Pontecorvo played the "Star Spangled Banner" to remember what our soldiers have done for us. After, we said the Pledge of Allegiance to show our respect to these people. Next, soldiers gave speeches and fired a volley to commemorate those who had died in service to our country. Lastly, we went to the cemetery and did our prayers and played more music.
